The Sony VAIO S Series laptop is now available for purchase. It’s designed to help endure the bumps and knocks of daily use and travel.
The Sony VAIO S Series come with the Intel Core i5-580M CPU, 13.3-inch (1366×768) LED-backlight display, up to 4GB of RAM, up to a 500GB hard drive or 256GB solid state drive, and Intel GMA HD integrated graphics or the Nvidia GeForce 310M 512MB dedicated video card.
Other options include a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo or Blu-ray burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional Intel Wireless Display technology, a web camera with microphone, Gigabit LAN, Firewire, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, Memory Stick PRO and SD card slots, an ExpressCard slot, and Windows 7 OS.
