Acer is now selling the Aspire One AOD257 netbook in Europe and the US, with pricing starting at 259 EUR (about $343). The new Aspire One AOD257 ultra-portable netbook based on Intel’s Atom Cedar Trail platform.The Acer Aspire One AOD257 netbook packs a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 320GB of hard drive (5400rpm), and Intel GMA 3650 integrated graphics.
Other feature on Aspire One AOD257 netbook is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a card reader, 0.3 megapixel webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, and a 6-cell 4400mAh Li-ion battery with enabling up to 8 hours of use. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS.
