Getac X500 Ultra-Rugged Notebook

Getac has just officially released a new rugged notebook, the Getac X500. This rugged notebook combines extreme durability, ultra fast speed and expandability to produce the ultimate computing solution for field operations.

The Getac X500 rugged notebook is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-520M or a 2.66GHz i7-620M processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive or 160GB solid state drive, and Intel integrated or a 512MB Nvidia GeForce GT 330M discrete graphics.

Getac X500 laptop sports a 15.6-inch LED backlight display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel. There are Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFiBluetooth 2.1,  optional GPS and 3G, an ExpressCard slot, a fingerprint reader, and an 8700mAh battery.
